InsulHeat Product Description
InsulHeat is a radiant panel system comprised of grooved, high compression EPS foam insulation laminated with aluminum sheets to be used in new construction and remodeling over cement or wood subfloors, walls and ceilings. The InsulHeat system uses two board patterns; Straight and Transition. The straights are laminated with a continuous aluminum sheet. The transitions are shipped with aluminum sheets that are installed on the job site.
The panels are laid out and installed in a pattern and attached by means of construction adhesives combined with screws or cross stapling. Two grooves are placed 8″ OC. The groove patterns create the pathways into which 1/2′′ ASTM F 876-877 PERT tubing is installed. PEX AL PEX tubing is not recommended with InsulHeat.
