EPS is a lightweight, high-strength insulating material consisting of small hollow spherical balls that are expanded through a molding process to create a cost effective, highly efficient material used in hundreds of different applications.
Do the math: Pst…Less to Do….
Current Radiant Slab Installation Practice: 12-25 psi/ 2” Foam Insulation Bottom/Sides + PEX clips and attachment + Concrete Gypsum/Concrete pour + apply finished floor assembly = Higher Installed Cost
InsulHeat Installation: 63 PSI InsulHeat assembly + snap in PEX – No Concrete Gypsum/Concrete Pour + Apply finished floor assembly = Lower Installed Cost
Radiant heat will go downward just as easily as up unless there is sufficient insulation. Often radiant is installed over under-insulated existing floors or crawl spaces or just places that are tough to insulate. More Insulation is required. The best solution can be installing InsulHeat over the floor rather than insulating under the floor to avoid costly heat loss.
A Smart Alternative to Gypsum Cement Radiant Floors
Faster Response. Higher efficiency. Integrated Insulation. No specialty sub-contractor required. Cost effective. No drying or curing time. Fire rated. Enhanced Sound dampening. Moisture resistant. No squeaky floors. Flooring goods friendly: flat, even surface.

InsulHeat. In the flow of your project with your crew. Simplify your project.
Each project is individually designed for panel locations, PEX tubing layout, manifolds and zoning locations. Optional heat loss calculations and full mechanical design services are available upon request.
InsulHeat accommodates nearly all common finished floor goods including hardwood, marble, tile, ceramic, softwood, brick, linoleum, bamboo, LVP, and many more.
Why does InsulHeat perform so well?
Fast Performance
Why wait for a slab to heat up? 3-8 times faster. With hydronic heating the lower the supply water temperature required to meet a given heating load – the more efficient a system.
Variable Spacing and Output system: Load Matching 8” and 16” Spacing
Use tighter PEX spacing where is the heat load is highest or wider PEX pacing for lower heat loss areas. Flexible design. Save materials and labor.
Rapid Response
Our conductive aluminum laminate allows heat to very rapidly flow across the surface. The dense EPS foam keeps heat from flowing in unproductive directions, allowing for maximum efficiency of radiant heat.
