Break the Radiant In-Concrete Habit
THE NEW WAY: OVER SLAB
Far faster response. Higher efficiency. Cut slab installation costs. No under and edge insulation costs. No curing. No cracks. Flooring Goods Friendly. Save time and money.
THE OLD WAY: IN-SLAB
Slower response. Slow efficiency. Expensive slab installation. Under and edge insulation costs. Requires curing time. Prone to cracks. Messy installation process. Labor intensive and time consuming.
The Modern Alternative to Radiant In-Concrete Slabs
Faster Response. Higher efficiency. Integrated Insulation. No specialty sub-contractor required. Cost effective. No drying or curing time. Fire rated. Enhanced Sound dampening. Moisture resistant. No squeaky floors. Flooring goods friendly. Flat, even surface.
Easy Three Step Installation
1. Install InsulHeat.
2. Install PERT Tubing.
3. End Plates and Flooring

Tough Stuff
High Compression Foam. Tough Aluminum Laminate
EPS is a lightweight, high-strength insulating material consisting of small hollow spherical balls that are expanded through a molding process to create a cost effective, highly efficient material used in hundreds of different applications.
- Tough, flat aluminum working surface ready for flooring goods
- Withstands jobsite abuse. A uniform, flat underlayment ready for finished flooring goods
- Compression: ASTM 1621 63 PSI
Lower Total Cost.
Do the math: Pst…Less to Do….
Current Radiant Slab Installation Practice: 12-25 psi/ 2” Foam Insulation Bottom/Sides + PERT clips and attachment + Concrete Gypsum/Concrete pour + apply finished floor assembly = Higher Installed Cost
InsulHeat Installation: 63 PSI InsulHeat assembly + snap in PERT – No Concrete Gypsum/Concrete Pour + Apply finished floor assembly = Lower Installed Cost
Over Under-Insulated Subfloors
Radiant heat will go downward just as easily as up unless there is sufficient insulation. Often radiant is installed over under-insulated existing floors or crawl spaces or just places that are tough to insulate. More Insulation is required. The best solution can be installing InsulHeat over the floor rather than insulating under the floor to avoid costly heat loss.
A Smart Alternative to Gypsum Cement Radiant Floors
Faster Response. Higher efficiency. Integrated Insulation. No specialty sub-contractor required. Cost effective. No drying or curing time. Fire rated. Enhanced Sound dampening. Moisture resistant. No squeaky floors. Flooring goods friendly: flat, even surface.

InsulHeat Performance
Why does InsulHeat perform so well?
- InsulHeat directs heat primarily in one direct, dramatically lowering unintended heat loss and increasing response time and efficiency.
- InsulHeat employs super conductive .020 aluminum sheet metal lamination over 100% of the floor surface while variable PERT spacing created design flexibility.
- InsulHeat omega shaped groove creates a tight bond between the PERT tubing and the aluminum.
- Higher efficiency results in lower supply water temperatures resulting in lower energy costs.
Fast Performance
Why wait for a slab to heat up? 3-8 times faster. With hydronic heating the lower the supply water temperature required to meet a given heating load – the more efficient a system.
Variable Spacing and Output system: Load Matching 8” and 16” Spacing
Use tighter PERT spacing where is the heat load is highest or wider PERT pacing for lower heat loss areas. Flexible design. Save materials and labor.
Rapid Response
Our conductive aluminum laminate allows heat to very rapidly flow across the surface. The dense EPS foam keeps heat from flowing in unproductive directions, allowing for maximum efficiency of radiant heat.
