Efficiency

InsulHeat offers a low mass and temperature panel with excellent efficiency. The highly conductive aluminum laminate allows for high heat transfer with full surface transfer coverage. Lower water temperatures equal low energy costs saving you money over the lifetime of your system.

R-Value Stability

Unlike other foam products, EPS R-values do not degrade over decades of use. InsulHeat foam is warranted at the rated R Value for a period of 20 years.

Sound Dampening

InsulHeat is far superior to a gypsum pour or a standard plywood subfloor for absorbing and decoupling in the reduction of sound transmission.

Fire Ratings

InsulHeat is constructed with a .020 aluminum sheet surface and meets or exceeds all aluminum foil faced EPS products in fire-spread rating expressed in the IRC R316.3

EPS Foam Characteristics

InsulHeat a 63 PSI working ASTM 1621 tested assembly. This construction exceeds all requirements for withstanding common construction wear and tear in residential and commercial applications. When used in conjunction with typical flooring goods assemblies as detailed in our manual the entire assembly impact flexural strength can exceed 6500 PSI.

EPS is a well‐established protection material utilized for different applications as it has a light yet rigid foam with excellent thermal insulation and high impact resistance. Aside from that, it has a high load‐bearing limit at a low weight, absolute water and vapor barrier, air tightness for controlled conditions, long life, low maintenance, quick, and economic development.

The expanded polystyrene foam is a lightweight cell plastic consisting of little spherical‐shaped particles containing about 98% air. This microcellular closed-cell construction gives EPS its excellent insulating and shock absorbing characteristics.

Moisture & Mold Resistance

InsulHeat EPS foam has a very low water absorption rate and high mold resistance. EPS foam has comparably rigid insulation that is closed cell with an elevated tolerance that ensures moisture is resisted.

Merely one-half of a percent is absorbed by EPS in a 15-year span, meaning it really is the best insulation for attic and also the best insulation for walls. Furthermore, when moisture moves into tiny cavities, EPS has a superior ability to expel that moisture.
